CBS Potluck Lunch Challenge: Team 1

We recently kicked off our CBS Potluck Lunch Challenge, an office initiative where two teams each create a themed menu and bring it to life.

Team 1, Taste Buds Without Borders, set the tone with a global theme that turned an ordinary lunch into something special.

Each team member brought a dish inspired by a different country, and the result was a table full of variety. From buffalo chicken dip and wings to oxtail stew, Greek salad, roasted potatoes, chicken bread, and a fresh crudité platter, there was no shortage of options. And with lemon pistachio bars and carrot cake rounding out the table, there was no shortage of second helpings either.

The team carried the theme beyond the food, decorating the lunchroom with flags from around the world and adding small touches that tied everything together. It helped bring the theme to life and added to the fun.

To keep things interesting, Team 2 was invited to score the experience, with scorecards handed out and results to come. But more than anything, it was a great excuse to step away from the day-to-day, try something new, and connect as a team over a shared meal.

Safe to say, Team 1 has set the bar high. We’re looking forward to seeing what Team 2 brings to the table!
