CBS Potluck Lunch Challenge: Team 2

Just after the first official day of summer, Team 2 embraced the season with a Summer Picnic theme for the second round of our competitive (and delicious!) CBS Potluck Lunch Challenge.

Classic red-and-white gingham tablecloths, hanging lanterns, and plenty of thoughtful details brought the sunshine into the office lunchroom. The creative décor set the scene and made it easy for everyone to get into the summer spirit.

And what was inside Team 2's overflowing picnic basket? The menu was just as sunny, with chipotle chicken sliders, Hungarian beef stew served with fresh bread, crab potato salad, Greek salad, chips and seven-layer dip, plus veggie and fruit trays. Sweet treats included apple crumble and popsicles. Whether you were in the mood for something hearty or something light, there was no shortage of delicious options to choose from.

One of the best parts of the Potluck Lunch Challenge has been seeing how each team interprets its theme in a completely different way. From the décor to the menu, Team 2 put together a lunch that captured the fun and relaxed feel of a summer picnic while giving everyone an opportunity to gather, catch up, and enjoy a great meal together.

With two creative lunches now in the books, our CBS Potluck Lunch Challenge has already been a highlight of the season!
